2024年9月15日，为欢迎西南交通大学-乔治亚州立大学合作项目新转入的学生，同时庆祝中国传统节日中秋节，乔治亚州立大学生物系中国学生会（Biology Chinese Student Association，GSU）在GSU Student Center为中美班同学举办了中秋佳节活动。乔治亚州立大学(GSU)生物系教授Dr. Phang-Cheng Tai, 项目美方主管Dr. Hongmei Zhang，中美班2018级杨晨学姐出席了本次活动。

On September 15, 2024, to welcome the newly transferred students from SWJTU-GSU collaborative program and to celebrate the traditional Chinese festival of Mid-Autumn Festival, Biology Chinese Student Association (GSU) held a Mid-Autumn Festival event for the students at GSU Student Center.

活动以主持人的热情欢迎拉开序幕。带动了现场的热烈气氛。

The festivities kicked off with a warm welcome from the emcee. It led to a lively atmosphere.

接着Dr. Tai和Dr. Zhang相继上台发表了欢迎致辞，并表达了对全体参会同学的感谢与祝福。Dr.Zhang还宣布了2024年春季奖学金的获奖学生名单，以表彰他们的优异成绩。

Dr. Phang-Cheng Tai and Dr. Hongmei Zhang then took the stage to deliver their welcome speeches and expressed their gratitude and blessings to all participants. Dr. Zhang also announced the winners of Scholarships for Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mention for students to recongnize their outstanding academic performance for the Spring 2024.

本科毕业于中美班，在哈佛大学完成研究生学业的杨晨学姐以申请背景，时间线，工作经历，受益的习惯四个方面来为同学们分享了她的学习经历。并对同学们在学业及就业方面提出建议。

Ms. Yang Chen, who graduated from Georgia State University and completed her graduate studies at Harvard University, shared her learning experience with students in four aspects: application background, timeline, work experience, and beneficial habits. She also gave advice to the students on their studies and employment.

谢欣格主席宣布并感谢为此次活动的成功举办付出辛勤劳动的工作人员。

BCSA President Xinge Xie announced and thank the BCSA Staffs who spent major efforts in arranging the successful event.

在接下来的午餐与活动环节中，老师同学们分享月饼。同学们积极参与投壶游戏和中秋知识问答等互动游戏。获胜者赢得了精美小礼品。

In the following lunch and activity session, teachers and students shared mooncakes. Students actively participated in the pot throwing game and Mid-Autumn Festival quiz. Students who answered the questions correctly won small gifts.

全体合影留念后，老师同学们进行了自由讨论，在生涯与职业规划上交换了意见。

In the midst of laughter, the Mid-Autumn Festival activities came to an end,professors and students took a group photo to freeze this wonderful moment.

本次迎新晚会暨中秋节活动圆满结束，通过这样的活动，大家不仅感受到节日的团圆与温暖，更收获了宝贵的指导与鼓励。希望同学们勇敢探索，积极努力，实现自己的人生价值。

This welcome party and Mid-Autumn Festival activity came to a successful conclusion. Through such activities, we not only felt the reunion and warmth of the festival, but also gained valuable guidance and encouragement. We hope that students will bravely explore and actively work hard to realize the value of their lives.
